History Exhibition and Hat Display

ALL WEEKEND

HATS IN THE CHURCH
Following the festival’s theme of hats, and instead of the familiar flower festival, St Andrew’s Church will house a beautiful collection of hats, loaned for display by local people.
The suggested entry donation of 50p will go towards the Church Fund to install a toilet to improve the facility for users.

HISTORY IN THE VILLAGE HALL
Come and see the display of Colne Engaine places and faces. Entry is free and we hope you will all enjoy taking a glimpse into
the past of our wonderful village.
In 1984 the Colne Engaine History Society was formed to “advance the public in the education of the history of Colne Engaine and surrounding areas by collection and preservation of relevant documents and photographs”. The index now stands at 21,000 entries. Alongside this is a photograph collection of over 2,500, plus maps, scrapbooks, newspaper extracts and much more.
